Eloi, Eloi, Lama Sabachthani? The Real Passion of Christ!

Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? The Real Passion of Christ!

Mark 15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? “I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.”

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

How many times have you said the same thing, how many times have you felt that you were all alone, How many times have you felt that no one cares? Everyone knows the television and movie version of the Passion of the Christ, but did you know that it was more than what they were showing? Men have been trying for centuries, to make money off the suffering of others, the same is true about Jesus and His Crucifiction.

Most of the Biblical accounts in the movies are just a conglomeration of what they believed happened or they spice it up with fairy tales to get more people to watch them. These are seducing spirits that have only one agenda, To confuse.

One good example is the movie, Noahs Arc, this was pure fantasy and very little was based on Biblical facts. Mel Gipsons,”The passion of the Christ.” was made for moneys sake, it too was with errors. The television show,”The Book of Daniel.” a farse and a belittlement of the true Book.

A Passion is a devotion to, or interest in, a cause or subject, strong, enthusiastic devotion to an ideal, or goal and tireless diligence in its furtherance: Pain and suffering was the way of our Saviour. The passion of the Christ was about the death of a Messiah, but the passion was also about what was and what was to come. What was to come? The pain and suffering of His followers, which came with a diligence in the furtherance of the Gospel. This also was the Passion, men and women that did, and would love Jesus, even unto death itself.

Jesus stayed on the cross because he was given a vision. A vision, a window, a door, a look into the future, of the suffering and love that many would find in His name. A vision that would aid Him in dealing with the pain and shame that He was to endure. This vision was also part of the passion.

We see this in Hebrews 12:2, Paul states; “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith ( The beginning and the end.); who for the joy (The reason, the purpose, the end. “my delights were with the sons of men.”) that was set before him ( The vision of a unified Church under one name. His.

Heb 12:23 To the general assembly and Church of the Firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, ) endured the cross (Suffering, pain.), despising ( To regard as unworthy of one’s interest or concern

the shame (Dishonor), and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Many say that this last sentence is denoting Jesus setting down on Gods Hand, which is totally wrong. Christ has His Throne to set upon, as stated in Matthew 20:20-23; Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?

They say unto him, We are able. And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

The Passion of Christ was just a beginning of it, the furtherance of the Gospel was the continuation. The pain and suffering of many to come, then, today and into the future. The Crucifiction of Christ was pre-ordained by God, before the foundation of the world, there was nothing that could have been done to stop it.

Matthew 17:11- 13 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. John the Baptist with the spirit of Elias, preached a true doctrine that would leed many back to the Holiness of the truth in Scripture and prepare them for the coming of the Messiah.

The Passion of the Christ was then truly, not the crucifiction, but the life, before and after, of the Christ.Proverbs 8:22-35 proves this. His passion was His love for the Father, The Truth and Mankind. The Passion of Christ was His, strong enthusiastic devotion to His Father and to His Fathers will. We see that again with the disciples and beyond. Even in todays wicked world of sin and corruption, there are men and women, around the world, seeking souls for the Father and being beaten and killed for their testimony of this passion.

So when did this passion come about?

In John 1:1, we see the beginning; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Proverbs 8:22-35; The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men. Jesus was the Passion of His Father and mankind was the Passion of Jesus, before the foundation of the earth.

Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. All of this is speeking of Jesus and His passion.

Israel working hard, losing everything

Posted by admin in World Of Religion

by Dana G Smith

Every wonder why Israel was called “Gods chosen people”? No! Well, from watching this tiny state of a little more than five million jews in it, one would not think they are chosen of anyone. There has never been a people that are more hated than the Jews. There has never been a people who have been the brunt of mass killing as the Jews. Now since 1948, they have had their own land. But Israel is not even a member of the United Nations. The Palestinian Authority who have been negotiating with Israel says in its charter that they “don’t even recognize Israel’s right to exist”.

The prophet Zechariah said of Israel in chapter two and verse eight:” For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.” It is good to note this scripture, for if I were Jewish, It would be of comfort to me. Thinking of myself as the “apple of Gods eye” would help me to put up with the hatred the nations throw at me. The people leading the charge against the nation of Israel are the Arabs. The hatred goes back to biblical times and has not eased one bit. Israel first became a nation in the 14th century b.c. approximately two thousand years before Islam. From 1272 b.c. the jews have had dominion over the land God gave to them for 1,000 years with a continuous presence in the land for 22 years. These facts are according to a history lesson given by Zola Levitt in His Levitt letter.

Moreover, we know King David founded the city of Jerusalem and that Mohammed never came there. Yet in the midst of this modern day hatred of Israel, the arabs and palestinians cry foul over Jerusalem and the middle east. This hatred is seen even in the Newly formed Iraqi constitution which reads “Any individual with another nationality (except for Israel) may obtain Iraqi nationality after a period of residency inside the borders of Iraq of not less than ten years for an Arab or twenty years for any other nationality”. Now we have heard the Bush administration congratulate itself on the great democratic strides forward in Iraq. Really? From this constitution, it is obviously biased against the Jewish state of Israel. Not that any Jew would want to come to Iraq. After all did not Abraham leave Ur of the Chaldees, a place in Iraq for the land God promised Him? In his article “A modest proposal” by Burt Prelutsky, www.chronwatch.com, he gives a reasons muslims hate us in the USA. He relates “The muslims don’t hate us because we’re in Iraq, but because we exist. The hate us because we’re everything they are not-advanced technologically, democratic, powerful, and Judeo-Christian. We don’t subjugate our women, we don’t behead our enemies, and our young men don’t blow themselves up in the hope of spending eternity in a celestial brothel. They despise our music, our movies, our tatoos and body piercing, our TV shows, and the way we dress.” If they hate the USA for these things, how much more do they hate Israel?

I say Many times more and so does history. Israel beat back attacks by nations of Arabs who wanted to destroy them. They took a parched desert and made it bloom. Their country is democratic and allows arabs to live there and become part of the political process. According to a report by Maoz Israel, the Israelis in regard to Gaza had created a paradise on earth in place of the empty land that was there. The Israelis built dream homes, beautiful manicured lawns, superb education and religious facilities. They erected 1000 acres of hot houses exporting spices, flowers, and vegetables and contributing many millions of dollars to the Israeli economy.

As well, these Israelis employed 4000 Gazan arabs to work in them. Now the Jews are gone, the religious facilities are destroyed, as well as the hot houses. In place of the growing population of prosperous Jews and Arabs, there is a terroist organization that brings hatred and violence. They have destroyed the buildings, synagogues, and hot houses the jews left. Instead they have brought jealousy and a morbid hatred for the Jews who live in their own democratic nation. In the midst of the 14th century Mohammedistic hatred and Jihad we find bloodshed and turmoil. This is the same kind that we have today with the modern muslims who hold to this century old hatred and way of life.

In conclusion, the muslims of America and around the world are always silent except for the times they cry foul about countries and nations focusing on the Muslim. They cry about their rights being violated, they cry about being picked out at airports because their Muslim. They seem to never cry about the blood shed that the Muslim terroist groups bring about. You don’t hear them screaming for “Bin Ladens head”. But listen to them scream foul when Israel puts up a fence to protect itself and its women and children from blood thirsty 14th century Jihadists who hate anyone who isn’t like themselves, especially Jews.

Like it or not God will not allow the Jews to be destroyed. When speaking of Israel’s enemies, Zechariah penned these verses. If anyone will have the last Word, it is the Lord. He will not forsake Israel, but save her. He will save her with the “right arm of His righteousness”. He will dwell in the midst of Her, and many will join Him on that day. Those nations of people who know the Messiach, Yessuah as their Lord.

Zechariah 2:9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of Hosts hath sent me.

10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.

11 And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

How to choose the best lapel pin for you - Part 1

Posted by admin in World Of Religion

If you have never ordered lapel pins, you might feel a little
bit overwhelmed by the different options you have to choose
from.

Basically, when ordering lapel pins you have to decide on:

* Style

* Plating

* Backing

* Size

* Finish

The right combination of the above features will decide on the
success of your project, and it will depend on how you are going
to use your lapel pins.

You first need to know the exact meaning of these features

Lapel Pin Manufacturing Process

The first thing you need to know when you start a lapel pin
project is that in order to get your logo on the pin the
manufacturing process has certain requirements that cannot be
avoided, and the only exception to this are silk-screened or
offset printed pins:

* The design will be transferred to the base material (brass),
creating raised (think of it as walls) and a recessed areas (or
containers).

* Colors used will be in either solid (crystals) or liquid form
, therefore, colors used in the design are limited to solid (or
spot) colors, resulting in the impossibility of using gradients
on the design. If you need to have gradients on your design, we
recommend you use the printed process.

* Colors are manually injected into the container areas and are
separated from each other by the walls , as a result of this,
colors won’t be touching each other , but separated by a thin
metal line.

*** If your company’s art specifications requires it, we can in
some cases, accommodate this by using an extra printing process,
which will be applied on top of the previously applied color.

That been said, let’s start learning more about the different
options on pins.

Deciding on the plating

The most common platings used in lapel pins manufacturing are
gold and silver. But there are a few others available to you to
choose from:

24kt Gold Is by far the most popular one for pins that
want to convey a jewelry look, as gold is often considered a
synonymous of elegance and prestige.

Sterling Silver Is the second favorite one and is often
used when the design demands it and/or you want to minimize the

Bronze With its gold-like shine, it is a recommended
option at more affordable prices.

Copper Reddish in color, nice shine. It is commonly used
for medals and medallions.

Black Nickel Subtle black shine, recommended for defined
drawing-like designs, works good with light colors.

White Nickel Similar shine to sterling silver.

Chrome Grayish looking shine.

Brass Original looks of brushed brass

Imitation Rhodium platinum like looks.

Choosing the plating is an art, and it will depend on the look
you want and the colors presented on the artwork or design.

Lapel Pins Styles

While it is often overlooked, the chosen style will influence
greatly the perceived value of your custom lapel pins.

Different styles work better with certain designs and colors,
while others will give them a specific character:

Cloisonné Pins

With the classic glass-like elegant look and vibrant colors
provided by the cloisonné pigments, these pins might seem to
some as a fine piece of jewelry, which will speak greatly about
your company pins. They are hand-crafted with great precision
and care, just like fine jewelry is made. There are only 144
cloisonné colors available. Click on the link if you wish to
find out more about Cloisonné Pins, and their manufacturing
process.

Classic Hard Enamel - Enamel Pins

Using a resin paste, mixed with color pigments, these pins have
the look and quality of cloisonné pins, but a greater variety of
colors, at just a fraction of the price you would pay for
authentic cloisonné pins. Classic Hard Enamel pigments are mixed
to match the desired color. Smooth at touch.

Die-Struck Pins

Using your custom made design, the copper or bronze base metal
is struck, creating fine detailed raised / deep recessed areas,
which then can be filled with colors or treated with your chosen
finish. Die-Struck pins have a good solid feel and weight.

Die-Struck Soft Enamel Pins

Soft Enamel colors are mixed in a solution form, and then
injected into the recessed areas formed in the struck process.
The result is a high textured pin that can then be covered with
a thin epoxy coating if desired. Soft Enamel colors are mixed to
match any desired color.

Die-Struck Promotional Iron Pins

Manufactured from an iron based metal, and using soft-enamel
colors, their main advantage is the reduced cost and weight,
which makes them perfect for large orders, where the shipping
expenses are a big factor to consider. Due to the nature of the
base metal real detailed designs are not recommended.

Photo Etched Pins

The design is chemically etched into thin bronze metal laminate,
leaving a raised / low depth recessed area, where the soft
enamel colors are then applied and all the area is covered with
a thin epoxy coating; finally the shape of the pin is cut out of
the brass laminate. Etched pins have a great look and lighter in
weight.

Printed Pins

Either offset-printed or silk-screened, printed pins are mostly
used for photos or landscapes, or any other design that requires
extremely fine detail, gradients or color on color designs. They
are covered with an epoxy coating and can produce great results.
They are light in weight and can be made in any color plating.

In the next part of this article we will talk about choosing
the size, backing and finish of your lapel pins
