Apple Creates Another Successful Must-Have Gadget - iPhones
Smartphones have become a trouble for mobile internet service providers as they are having problems in managing the rapid increase in data traffic.
It seems that the maximum amount of this traffic is coming from iPhones created by Apple. A recent report by AdMob, a mobile advertising company, has shown that iPhones account for half of the smartphone usage in the world, if not half of the sale. Thus, Apple has once again become successful in making a device that everyone wants.
AdMob collected the data regarding advertisement for smartphones put on mobile websites and the applications for the purchase of smartphones to confirm the growing usage.
The results show that while iPhone has been doing great, not all smartphones are enjoying the same popularity. The report also said that smartphones that use Google’s Android operating system are the phones that are most in demand. In fact, these phones were responsible for 75% of the data traffic in the USA in the past month.
However, Blackberry does not have much popularity as it is responsible for only 12% of the data traffic. Palm Pre’s popularity is going down, and the data traffic on this smartphone went down by 5% in the month of October.
Thus, the device essentially responsible for overloading of the networks is iPhone.
