Buggies - Efficient Transport Systems for Babies

Category: Children, Help + Advice, Products Hub. Posted by Admin at 7:26 am.

For parents of young children or newborns, choosing the right carriage for transporting the baby is a difficult task. With so many options available in the market, it is important to be able to identify the right vehicle with truly utilitarian features and necessary accessories to suit the needs of both you and your baby. Buggies, prams, carrycots etc, all have their unique and attractive features that cater to the needs of different parents.

Buggies are typically designed for children to travel in a seated position up to three years of age. However, parents can find models in the market which give them the advantage of using the buggy or pushchair for a much younger baby too. These vehicles have a reclining seat feature which allows the seat to be adjusted for a small baby which needs to sleep for most of the time. As these are compatible with carrycots, they turn into an efficient travel system for newborn babies too.

Parents opting for this model have the added bonus of getting, in one go, a suitable travel solution for the baby as he/she grows older and needs a seating vehicle. When the baby grows, all the parent needs to do is adjust the seat to support the sitting baby. With excellent manoeuvrability and lightweight framework, these are ideal vehicles for frequent use outdoors.

Parents who are likely to be using the buggy over rough terrain are advised to go for the three-wheeled all-terrain buggies. Two wheelers are more appropriate for normal urban usage.
